I'm a person of wide interest. I like doing a lot of things but I'm a master at none. Right now I'm having so much fun making cards to share with my friends and family ....There are so many wonderful designers out there and the creativity of each one is so incredible. Im currently taking a painting class working with acrylic paints. I have a loving family...Married to the same wonderful man for over 31 years. I have three grown children and one beautiful grandaughter(who also shares my love of crafting).

"Earth Day" Blog Hop ....Lets go Green

We are celebrating "Earth Day" here at Michelle Perkett's Studios
We were to create a card from recylced elements it also had to contain the color green.... I had lots of fun trying to think up what I could use....Here is what I came up with, hope you like it!!
The flowers are made of used dryer sheets that I  colored with ink..... I used a piece of tshirt cardboard for the card itself and also for the other cardboard elements ....... I then put them throught the Cuttle Bug and embossed....The birthday greeting is from an old birthday card..... the yellow and green paper are left over papers from another project. HERE is where you can get this cute image.
Thanks for stopping by!
Hugs Jean
If you came here from Pauline's blog your on the right track.....your next stop is at Marilyn's Blog
Have a great time and enjoy all the creativity!!

Hi Jean - I love your dryer sheet flowers! I don't use dryer sheets here in Oz, but I did use them in Canada years ago. Dried out baby wipes feel the same though! I love the colour palette you chose!

Pauline

WOW! Beautiful card! Really love those awesome dryer sheet flowers! And I thought the only other use for them was to rub over the paper before embossing! For such humble beginnings, this card definately shines in its' new, redesigned look!
