I'm a person of wide interest. I like doing a lot of things but I'm a master at none. Right now I'm having so much fun making cards to share with my friends and family ....There are so many wonderful designers out there and the creativity of each one is so incredible. Im currently taking a painting class working with acrylic paints. I have a loving family...Married to the same wonderful man for over 31 years. I have three grown children and one beautiful grandaughter(who also shares my love of crafting).

It's that time of year again!!!

Good Morning Everyone,
Happy Wednesday to you all!!
I would like to share a Christmas Card that I will be adding to my stash for this year.
First it's a wonderful snowman from Sassy Cherly's collection of snowmen.....I just love her snowmen they have so much character and are always having fun.
I've color the snowman with Triart markers and as usual with some prisma pencils.
The papers I've had for awhile so I'm not sure who they are from.
The snowflakes are from Martha Stewarts line of punches and the small swirl is from sizzix.
The sentiment is from the Dollar bin at Michaels......I just love those dollar bins there....There's always something fun.
Well enjoy the day and I hope you like the card.

Christmas Ornaments

I have also been working on some Christmas Ornaments that I think are just so beautiful....They are pretty easy to make although they take a very long time to put together....And they take some practice in folding them. They are called Kusadama Balls...there are alot of tutorials on youtube that you can follow.

This is  a close up of one of the petals in the ball.

I know I've been gone a lone time!!

Well I know it has been a long time......Many things have happen to me the past few months and I just haven't been able to post anything.I will get back into the swing of things I  promise
I had to get ready for our school opening....School started so early this year august 18th.That just didnt seem fair....Summer was just to short!!!!!
Then My Uncle who was the most dearest of Uncle's passed , and my family and I traveled to Montana from California( that was the longest drive...18 hours non stop), but his Services were beautiful and it was a wonderful celebration of his life.
Then a friend of mine passed the same week....  of colon cancer, and that was especially hard for me because we shared the same illness.
I will miss both of them so much
Thennnn...... to top all of this off I had strep throat I had to deal with.
Well now I am finally able to get back into the swing of things and I will start to post on a semi regular basis.
I have quite a few things to share and I'm excited to share the projects that I have been working on. I will have a post for you tomorrow

Challenge #35 at Michelle perkett Studios

Well back for another exciting challenge...
We were to use  punches (any kind, MS,
Spellbinders etc) and some sort of fussy cutting be it the image or cut a flower or design out of DP.

This is what I wanted to try.....An Explosion box!!! Its a card and gift in one, I haven't put an sentiment on it yet ....haven't decide what I want to use. There are many tutorials on YouTube on how to make these boxes.
I made my box bigger  then in the tutorials so that I could accommodate my  image.....All the flowers were from punches I have, (MS,EK,Sizzix)....This was so much fun to make and it really wasn't hard at all....after all the cutting I just had to assemble..
Paper: Core'dinations,white card stock.vellum,assorted DP
Punches:( MS hydrangeas, hydrangea's boarder, daisy boarder),(Daisy chain boarder,Sm and Med retro    flower all EK )
Stamp: Michelle Perkett ,DIGITAL STAMP - THREE GRACES BALLERINAS

 Hope you enjoy !!

Hi everyone out there it has been sooooooo nice here in my part of the world the sun has been out ..... the temperature has been in the eighties and the rain is finally gone.Summer has officially started and school is almost over .....we have until Friday and then its summer vacation .....Yaaaaah

Well our Challenge this week was to use The Three P's
3 designer papers..... 3 pearls and 3element's with a color that begins with the letter P....
I choose to use Michelle's beautiful "Just breath Mermaid" which you can get at her Etsy shop......The three DP's I choose were from basic greys Kioshi  6x6 pad ..... the card stock is from core'dinations.
The three elements I used were Rhinestone stickers from Recollections from Michael's.......Anna griffin brads and a sewing pin that I colored with my makers. I used my Triart and Copic markers and did some shading with prisma colored pencils

I  made a latch for the card and use the pin to keep the card closed .
